Dale Marshall never ceases to amaze Alaska State Fair visitors with his growing expertise and pumpkin patience. This year’s winning pumpkin, another Marshall monolith, weighed in at 1,603.5 pounds! It joins the ranks of other noteworthy pumpkins like his recording setter from 2019 that weighed in at over 2,000 pounds. As the single competitive pumpkin at the fair this year, Marshall walked away with a guaranteed win, but it was a behemoth nonetheless. Just imagine the number of pies you could make from such a colossal pumpkin. Incredible!
